Man in court over drug offences

A man has appeared in court charged with a number of drug offences following a search of a property in Stafford recently. 

Michael Harvey, aged 29, of Stafford, appeared before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre earlier today (Friday 1 August) charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, one count of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and one count of possession of class B drugs as well as possession of criminal property. 

The charges follow a search of a property in the Highfields area by our County Proactive and Rural Crime Team (CPART) officers earlier this week. 

Harvey has been remanded into custody ahead of a further hearing due at the Stafford Crown Court on Monday 1 September 2025.
